Regular Virtual Programs
Check the Calendar of Events for updates, schedule modifcations, and Zoom links.
Second Saturdays are held at 1:00PM on the … you guessed it … second Saturday of the month, September through May. Speakers present a lecture followed by a question-and-answer period. Some presentations may be recorded and available to members on the website for up to a year. Check the Members Home page of this website for recordings.
Brags and Bricks is a weekly gathering for genealogy-related (usually) chat. Participants share their recent successes (brags) and problem areas (brick walls) in a casual setting. We meet every Monday from 10:00 to 11:30AM. Pets welcome.
Tech Tuesdays is a popular, informal consult time on DNA, hardware, software, and virtually any genealogy-related issues. Tech Tuesdays occur virtually the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of the month. All are welcome, especially beginners. No appointment necessary; drop in any time between 10AM and 11AM. No guarantee we can solve your problem, but we sure will try.
Virtual Sundays feature a presentation followed by Q&A and is “virtual” (Zoom), usually held at 1PM (Pacific) on the third Sunday of the month. Speakers may repeat (or revise) a tried-and-true lecture or test a new one and ask for feedback from participants. Either way, it’s bound to be illuminating. Members are invited to share their own research by planning a presentation for our community. It can be 10 minutes or an hour or anything in between.
