SGS Virtual Sunday: AI Assisted Photo Restoration

Join us for a Virtual Sunday presentation with Robert R. Riopel, a family-history researcher, former U.S. Marine Corps photographer, and member of the New England Historic Genealogical Society.

Robert is the author of AI-Assisted Photo Restoration: The Restore Protocol—Standards for Evidence Preservation, Reconstruction, and Colorization. His work explores the use of artificial intelligence to restore and enhance historical photographs while emphasizing the importance of preserving the integrity of the original images.

Robert will give a brief presentation introducing his approach to AI-assisted photo restoration, followed by an opportunity for questions and discussion.

His book will soon be available on Amazon, and additional resources, formats, and course offerings can be found on his website, AIArestoreprotocol.com.
